Regarding Krishna
Today's strip is about Krishna, one of India's most beloved heroes and gods. He is an incarnation of Vishnu, the Hindu god of protection, and eradicates evil from within the royal class.
I'm not a religious Hindu; I learned about Krishna through a comic book series called Amar Chitra Katha (which retells mythological stories beautifully) from India. Indeed, he is one cool and mischievous boy; he devises way to steal butter from the village women and does take down a seven-headed snake named Kaliya. He also kills his evil uncle Kamsa when he's twelve (which sets precedence for Simba and Scar, you see.)
Look up Krishna and his exploits. They are really cool.
