I just realized now that in irony I put up the first comic strip about the jungle and it was late because my family was at Jungle Island.
Jungle Island used to be a small parrot place near our house, but it moved closer to Miami Beach after tangles with the neighbors about late-night parties. (It was within a neighborhood of families.)
My mom, brother and I went three years ago to the new Parrot Jungle and hated it. They overcharged on everything. It's still commercial the second time around, but the prices are more reasonable and they have more creatures, like tigers and penguins and ligers.
I found out that penguins will poke you if they are curious about your hair. That was scary. I'll ask my mom if I can post up the photo her. If not, I'll do some renditions of it in pencil.
